HANNA Instruments USA Announces its Hydroponics Rebate Plan

HANNA USA has kicked off its first rebate plan that will run until July 31, 2012.

This hydroponics rebate plan is the first of its kind, and includes four of HANNA’s top selling hydroponics meters.

Every hydroponics customer that purchases a HI 98129, HI 98130, HI 9813-5N, and/or HI 9813-6N will qualify for a $10 mail-in manufacturer’s rebate!

Hydroponics retail stores across the country have been equipped with rebate forms and information. Upon purchasing one of the qualifying meters, customers should fill out a rebate form and return it along with their product’s original UPC code and rebate form to:

Measure pH for Charity

Hanna needs your support! We are running a campaign called “Measure pH for Charity”, where Hanna Instruments will donate money on your behalf for every testimonial you provide about your use of a Hanna meter.

Testimonials can be sent as text, text and a picture, or a video. Hanna will donate $1 for every written testimonial, $3 for every testimonial with a picture, and $5 for every video testimonial.

Hanna instruments believes that everyone deserves clean water, however, far too many don’t have access to safe, clean water. Here are some figures:

-    884 million people lack access to safe water supplies
-    Every 20 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease
-    Waterborne diseases cause 1.4 million children’s deaths every year

Hanna Instruments is pleased to announce it has partnered with Brechbühler AG as its exclusive distributor in Switzerland for scientific analytical instrumentation.

The partnership combines Hanna’s high quality devices for Lab, Environmental, Food and Industry applications with Brechbühler AG’s excellent service and support; providing Hanna with a strong presence in Switzerland, and providing Brechbühler AG with high quality, cost effective devices.

The two companies will be exhibiting together at the upcoming Labotec Suisse 2012 in Basel Switzerland. The show, focusing on state-of-the-art analytics, will feature some of Hanna’s newest products including the 902C2 two channel Potentiometric Titrator as well as several redesigned bench meters.

How to Obtain Reliable pH Measurements

Hanna Application Engineer Michelle Hetu will be presenting a seminar at the upcoming Arablab trade show in Dubai entitled “How to Obtain Reliable pH Measurements.” The presentation will focus on understanding the theory and relationship between mV and pH and how to use the mV mode on pH meters to identify and troubleshoot faulty pH readings.
