Hanna Instruments Releases Redesigned Bench-Top Conductivity Meter with ATC and Analog Output

Hanna Instruments is pleased to introduce the HI 23151.  The HI 23151 is the latest in our line of Bench-Top Meters.   Designed to measure conductivity over a wide range the HI 2315 offers a four ring potentiometric platinum probe, automatic temperature compensation (ATC) and a 0 to 5 V analog output for connecting to a recording device.

It replaces the EC 215R and features a large, easy to read LCD, built-in solution holders and an attractive redesigned case.

We are pleased to introduce our latest product, the HI 22091.  The HI 22091 is the latest in our line of redesigned Bench-Top Meters.   Designed to measure pH and mV, this meter features manual temperature compensation (MTC), manual calibration, and an analog output for connecting to recording devices.

The HI 22091 replaces PH 209R and has a newly designed mold featuring a large, easy to use LCD and built-in solution holders.

Hanna Instruments Releases Redesigned Bench-Top EC and Resistivity Meter Hanna Instruments is pleased to introduce the HI 2316. The HI 2316 is the latest in our line of Bench-Top Meters. Designed to measure EC and Resistivity the HI 2316 is supplied with a four ring platinum probe for EC and a separate sensor designed for resistivity measurement. It also features manual 1 point calibration and automatic temperature compensation. New features include a large, easy to read LCD, built-in solution holders and an attractive redesigned case. It replaces the HI 216. We are pleased to announce that we have recently added two new partnerships.  We have partnered with Bartelt Gesellschaft m.b.H as our exclusive distributor in Austria and we have partnered with Diamed Enterprise as our exclusive distributor in the Philippines.

These new partnerships expand our reach within these countries and will help strengthen our sales, service and support for local customers in Austria and the Philippines.

These partnerships combine Hanna’s high quality devices for Lab, Environmental, Food and Industry applications with Bartelt’s and Diamed’s excellent service and support.

Both new distributors will represent Hanna’s entire product catalog of scientific analytical instrumentation, spanning over 3000 products ranging from handheld pH Checkers, to Portable Multiparameter units to laboratory grade Titrators.

Water Management and Economic Development

A recent report posted on Reuters.com linked water scarcity as a major hurdle to emerging markets. The article, citing a study conducted by Frontier Economics and commissioned by banking group HSBC, states that “poor management of water resources could stifle economic growth in some of the world’s most rapidly developing economies.”

In particular, it pointed to the forecast of gross domestic product in river basin areas, stating that “by 2050 the world’s ten most populous river basins will be producing a quarter of the globe’s gross domestic product, compared with 10 percent now”, however, “seven of them will be facing water scarcity without significant investment in better water management.”

The main river systems identified by the study are located in China, India and North Africa.
