U.S. Water Analytical Instrumentation Market Expected to Show Steady Growth

A recent report by Verify Markets indicates that the U.S. Water and Wastewater analytical markets are expected to show steady growth between 2011 and 2018.  The market, already estimated at over $320 million in 2011, is expected to continue to grow largely due to factors including water reuse, environmental regulations, and labor costs associated with water management and wastewater management.

The pH market was the largest among the segments followed by the conductivity market.  Other measured markets include Total Organic Carbon (TOC), turbidity and total phosphorus and total nitrogen, which are considered still in their infancy.

How to Obtain Reliable pH Measurements

Hanna Application Engineer Michelle Hetu will be presenting a seminar at the upcoming Arablab trade show in Dubai entitled “How to Obtain Reliable pH Measurements.”  The presentation will focus on understanding the theory and relationship between mV and pH and how to use the mV mode on pH meters to identify and troubleshoot faulty pH readings.
