The HI38054-100 are replacement reagents for the colorimetric determination of ozone with the HI38054 Ozone Test Kit. There are enough reagents for approximately 100 tests to be used with Hanna's test kit. The HI38054-100 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate ozone measurements with the chemical test kit. These reagents follow the DPD (N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine) method to determine ozone concentration.

For determination of ozone, the DPD powder reagent is added to a sample containing ozone. The reaction between ozone and the reagent causes a pink colored complex to form; the greater the concentration, the deeper the color. A Checker Disc is included for an accurate, side-by-side, visual analysis to determine ozone concentration. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected ozone range of 0.0 to 2.3 mg/L (ppm).
