Low Battery Indicator
The included batteries provide 1200 hours of continuous use. When the battery level is below 10%, a warning symbol will blink to indicate low battery condition. When low battery power may affect your results, the meter will shut down to avoid erroneous readings caused by low battery level.
Automatic Shut-off
The auto-off feature can be set to shut the meter off at 8 or 60 minutes, or it can be disabled so that the meter continuously stays on. The auto-off feature prolongs battery life for peace-of-mind and energy savings if the meter is accidentally left on.

Quick Connect Probe
A Quick Connect DIN connector makes attaching and removing the probe simple and easy. The rubber coating protects the cable and provides a water-tight seal without twisting.
Your measurements require detailed attention; so should your electrode. The HI99162 Milk pH Meter features a replaceable FC1013 probe that has been carefully designed specifically for the pH analysis of milk and dairy products.
PVDF Body
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a durable plastic that is resistant to most chemicals and solvents used for disinfection in the food sector, including chlorine (bleach).
Spherical Glass Tip
The spherical pH bulb features a low resistance pH glass that responds quickly to the sample (even at cold temperatures).
Refillable pH Electrode
Simply replenish the electrolyte when it becomes low or contaminated to help maintain accuracy as well as extend the life of the electrode.

pH 4 & 7 Buffer Sachets
When performing a pH calibration it is important that the correct buffers are used. We include some start buffers to get you going. The single-use sachets are individually sealed so you use fresh buffer each time you calibrate.
Cleaning Solution for Milk Deposits (2)
Your Milk pH Meter comes with a cleaning solution that has been engineered to keep your electrode free from protein and sugar build-up. This concentrated combination of detergents cleans your pH electrode quickly and effectively so that your meter stays in optimum condition.

*The new Quick DIN probe connection is compatible with the old body design, however, the old DIN probe connections are not compatible with the new body design.
