Manufactured with two peristaltic dosing pumps with replaceable chemical resistant tubing |
One of these pumps doses acid or base while the other is used to dose chlorine |
Alternatively, when a system uses a diaphragm pump, chlorine gas that forms from outgassing can collect in the pump head and cause the pump to lose its prime. With our Swimming Pool and Spa Controllers, the buildup of chlorine gas is not an issue due to the peristaltic pumps |
Made with proportionally controlled dosing pumps |
Allows precise control and helps maintain the desired set point |
Users can set the proportional band based on the amount of chemicals added and the size of the body of water being treated. For example, a large body of water like a swimming pool, should use a small proportional band (e.g., 0.1 pH) to ensure that the pumps dose more often when the reading nears the set point. On the other hand, with a small body of water such as a hot tub, it is better to set a larger proportional band (e.g., 1.0 pH). This minimizes the amount of time that the dosing pump is on for and this also avoids large swings in pH and ORP levels |
Dosing pump flow rate is adjustable from 0.5 to 3.5L/h |
The adjustable flow rate, like the proportional band, allows for better control in maintaining a desired set point |
Larger bodies of water like swimming pools, require more chemicals to see a change in the reading compared to smaller bodies of water like hot tubs. This is where the adjustable flow rate comes in handy |
Perfect for chlorine disinfection as there is an inverse relationship between pH and ORP. When pH levels increase, the ORP levels decrease |
The dosing consent feature will not dose chlorine until the pH value is corrected first which can prevent a potentially irritating and unsafe condition |
This avoids having a chlorine concentration that is too high and prevents chemicals from being wasted |
