The HI765A is an air and gas thermistor probe with a handle designed for use with a thermistor thermometer. A cable extends from the handle to the meter connection. The vent holes at the tip of the probe allow users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of air and gases. The HI765 series of thermistor probes is pre-calibrated with a maximum error of ±0.2°C (±0.4°F), so recalibration isn't necessary when probes are interchanged.
